  1. Hi Mani, nice list, thanks. Also have a look at BuzzSumo, which finds the most shared content for any topic, author or domain. BuzzSumo provides good insights on what content resonates with audiences on the different networks and what content formats are working.

  2. Hey Mani! Awesome list! You may also be interested in, a media monitoring tool for tracking keywords across the web, including social. mention allows you to monitor, respond to, and share mentions with your team from one web or mobile platform. Would be happy to answer any questions or give you a tutorial if interested!

  3. Excellent list Mani! This is such valuable source of information, as you have covered all of the different tasks imposed to marketers. It is great that you have chosen one tool for each tasks, so you diversified the tools and the tasks. Thanks for sharing your ideas on this topic.

  4. Very

ones. I personally like Google Webmaster, It makes life so easy and at

  5. I love this post and the way the content is laid out with each of the screenshots and a short blurb for each — just perfect! I was also surprised to see a bunch of new tools that I’ve never heard of before. PowToon is one of my favorites on the list, as it’s made the process for creating animated explainer videos much easier. This service would usually cost a few thousand if done by an agency, but when it’s built into a self serve platform it’s golden. Optimizely is another favorite on the list… you simply can’t split test enough. I wish I had the time to play around with all of them. Thanks Mani!

  6. After rereading your post again Mani I had some questions come to mind. Are today’s marketers, in either the B2B or B2C space equipped to handle the ever-changing landscape of connectedness and technology? Every tool mentioned has its own unique purpose and function? What’s the general learning curve for each tool? On the upside, I like the list of tools mentioned. I’d say invest in the tools closest to your own skill set and your client’s needs. If you have a team of marketers, keep training them. They’ll love you for it more than you can know.

    1. Interesting question. I think most B2B ones have a steep learning curve. There are so many features and combos you can experiment with, while most B2C apps are pretty straight forward and does few things really well as opposed to everything. I don’t like the way I’m generalizing though.

  11. Mani, A great read as always.

I don’t like Powtoon because it’s free version has a trade mark of Powtoon and it looks a little unprofessional, specifically if you are trying to establish yourself as an authority via Content Marketing.

Undoubtedly, Unbounce is a great tool for A/B testing!

  12. nice blog too informative. looking and reading your points its so impressive. doing more blog like this. i really appreciated doing like this.

  13. Wow! This is an awesome list – so many great tools mentioned. I have used many of these…some of my current favorites are PowToon ,Everyone Social and Skyword…
